Andrew Gawinski joined the WETM 18 News team in September of 2009, as a General Assignment Reporter.
Andrew is a graduate of the New School of Radio and Television, in Albany, New York with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Andrew interned at WXXA-TV, WRGB-TV, and also for a minor league baseball team, the Tri-City Valley Cats.
Andrew spent 7 years in the Air Force National Guard and visited such places such as, Germany, Spain while working the field of services.
When Andrew is not reporting you can find him behind his drum-kit where he has made a name for himself in the Albany area, and has shared the stage with national touring acts.
Sports are also a deep passion for Andrew, which puts him in a happy place to live here amongst others that are proud to Buffalo Bills fans.
Andrew is looking forward to calling the Twin Tiers his new home and meeting his new neighbors.
