Nick Bannin is a meteorologist on the WETM-18 Storm Team. You can catch his forecasts at 6 and 11 o'clock on weekend evenings .
Nick graduated from Cornell University in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science and a minor in Applied Economics and Management as part of Cornell's undergraduate business school. Nick started his on-air forecasts at Ithaca College Television on Ithaca's South Hill.
Nick is also an active member in the American Meteorological Society.
Nick was born in Bristol, England but spent the majority of his British life in Manchester (Go Manchester United!).
At age four he moved to Cincinnati for three years where he developed a passion for severe storms which ignited his interest in the field of Meteorology. Since age 7, Nick has not been interested in anything but the skies above.
After moving back to England for a brief two years he moved back to the United States for good, living in the San Francisco Bay Area for six years before moving down to San Diego, California along with his family.
