Nick Natario joined the WETM 18 News team in May 2009, as a General Assignment Reporter.
In May 2008, Nick graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism and history. During college, he worked for WAER sports radio. Outside the classroom, he interned at WWLP-TV in Springfield, Mass., where he had the opportunity to work in the newsroom and help produce the evening news.
Nick comes to us from Belchertown, Mass., where he first gained his passion for journalism. Growing up, he volunteered his time to broadcast all the local sports action for Belchertown Cable Television.
When Nick’s not reporting, you can find him catching up on his reality television, exercising or reading a U.S. history book. He is also a huge fan of anything sports-related. Naturally, he is a big Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Orange fan, but his favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills.
Nick is looking forward to getting to know the Twin Tiers. Having graduated from a high school class of only 144, he is excited to get to be a part of another close-knit community. He is anxious to see what stories the Twin Tiers will bring.
