Staci-Lyn Honda joined the WETM 18 News team in November of 2006 as a General Assignment Reporter. Now she anchors our 6 and 11 pm weekend reports.She comes to the Twin Tiers from WTAJ-TV in Altoona, Pennsylvania, where she worked as a freelance reporter.
In May of 2006, Staci-Lyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Penn State University with double degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Politics. During college, she worked as an anchor, reporter and producer for WEIU News Watch and the Centre County Report. As an intern for NBC in Washington D.C., she had the opportunity to cover Capitol Hill and the White House.
Staci-Lyn is a native of the beautiful Rocky Mountain state, Colorado. When she’s not reporting, you can find her rock climbing, reading and working out. She’s also a big football fan and loves the Denver Broncos and the Nittany Lions!
Staci-Lyn is excited to call the Twin Tiers her new home. Coming from a larger city, she appreciates the smaller, close knit community. She looks forward to the challenges of reporting and bringing you memorable stories from around the Twin Tiers.
