Seems like we've been covering Katie Wyant's games for a decade, but she IS finally done with her high school career. Today, 18 Sports named Wyant the WETM-18 Sports Female Athlete of the Year.
A well-rounded athlete, Wyant starred in every sport she tried at Jasper-Troupsburg. On the soccer field, Wyant was the two-time S.C.L. player of the year, scoring 20 goals with eleven assists her senior year.
Once the winter hit, she led J-T's girls basketball team to a sectional title, scoring 14 points a game and averaging five assists.
Wyant also qualified for the state track meet in four events, capping one of the most decorated athletic careers in J-T history.
You can check out Wyant's interview by clicking the video link from Tuesday's WETM-18 Sports at 6pm.
Wednesday at six, 18 Sports will crown the Male Athlete of the Year.
