Jen Silata is going back to college - this time as a coach. The Troy High School softball coach will be the assistant coach at Division-I Iona College next year.
The move isn't official yet, but she has known about the school's choice for a few weeks.
Silata played Division-I softball at Canisius in college, after starring at Southside High School in Elmira. She coached Troy to the 4-seed in the District IV playoffs this past season.
