LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE TWIN TIERS...BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND...IT'S TIME FOR AN EXCLUSIVE EDITION OF THE DR. COLEMAN GOLDEN PITCHFORK AWARDS.

EVANGELIST PAT ROBERTSON GETS THE GOLDEN PITCHFORK BY BLAMING THE RECENT DISASTER IN HAITI ON A HAITIAN PACT WITH THE DEVIL FROM THE 18TH CENTURY. WHAT CAN I SAY…YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP.

THE NEXT DR. COLEMAN GOLDEN PITCHFORK AWARD GOES TO THE ACTOR DANNY GLOVER WHO RECENTLY PROCLAIMED--WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE--THAT THE TRAGEDY IN HAITI WAS THE DIRECT RESULT OF GLOBAL WARMING. AGAIN, YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP.

THE THIRD GOLDEN PITCHFORK OF THE EVENING...GOES TO THE UNITED STATES SENATE MAJORITY LEADER HARRY REID WHO ONCE DESCRIBED PRESIDENT OBAMA AS "LIGHT SKINNED" AND "WITH NO NEGRO DIALECT.” TO REPEAT…YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP.

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT...BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND...THE DR. COLEMAN GOLDEN PITCHFORK AWARDS. WITH COMMENTARY...I'M YOUR PH.D. OF POLITICS...DR. STEPHEN HURRICANE COLEMAN THE THIRD...THAT'S MY OPINION...WHAT'S YOURS?

Dear Dr. Coleman, In my opinon, I think you missed one very much deserved golden pitchfork award which should be delivered to NYS Govenor David Paterson for even considering closing ANY New York State Parks or Historic Sites without reflecting on the views of the taxpayers whom he is supposed to be representing and to whom our public lands belong. I and many other constituents are appalled that he would think so lightly of the educational, environmental, recreational and healthful benefits that these treasured remnants of our once glorious state provide. I would suggest that we must all band together and let our thoughts be known. Demanding that we as voters are given our rightful consideration in this and all other matters that come before our elected officials. I will remind the Lt. Govenor, risen to Govenitorial Office, of the words he spoke in his inaugural speech on March 17, 2008 - "With conviction in our brains and compassion in our hearts and the love for New York on our sleeves, we will dedicate ourselves to principle but always maintain the ability to listen." Thanks for listening, R. Hall Corning, N.Y.
