Did you miss one day of exercise this week? Do you feel bad about it? Was you weekend filled with a few festivities and way too many calories? Do you now feel you have to work doubly hard to make up for that one lousy day you missed? Well if you have answered yes to any of the above, you are suffering from exercised induced guilt.

Particularly if you are an avid fitness enthusiast. Missing a day or two of exercise is not the end of the world. In many cases, folks tend to overtrain and never really allow themselves recovery from previous workouts, so a day off is not a bad thing. Although beating yourself up in the gym or "punishing" your self for missing a day is not healthy no matter how you size it up.

Allow yourself time to miss a workout. What did he just say? You heard me, allow yourself an opportunity to miss a workout. Don't obsess or upset yourself over it. Everybody has a busy life with hardly any hours in the day to get done what needs to be done. Exercise is often the first to get scratched off the list if there just isn't enough time. Thats fine! Keep in mind that you'll be back on track in a day or so and you'll resume you regular routine.

Don't plague your mind with thoughts about exercise this only sets you up for defeat. You'll end up resenting fitness and blaming it for your lack of time to do anything. So pace yourself stay, the course and you will be fit!
