Getting fit, whats it all about? It's all about you. Fit for one is not necessarily fit for another. Thats why getting in shape is so great. You work at your level and your pace.

How do you get fit? Well first you need to define your goals. Are you seeking exercise to help lower blood pressure, to lose weight to strengthen after an injury? Once you determine this, you should seek a knowledgeable trainer that is informed and experienced in working with diverse clientele. Find someone that is well rounded in a variety of wellness components.

Keep in mind your needs and not what the trainer expects in your initial workout sessions. Beginners should leave the gym feeling as though they have done nothing. I know what your thinking, well how am I going to be in shape training at the gym like that? The "no pain no gain" method is out. At your first sessions "light is right". Don't burn out at the start. Allow you mind and your body to adjust to your new activity and then gradually progress to the next level.
Tips for getting fit.

*Always pack your gym gear ahead of time and take it with you.(Don't plan on going home to change....you won't come back).

*Plan your workout for the week.If something comes up, modify the workout but do get something in.

*Expect to be at the gym for about 30min. to an hour at the most, this includes chit chat time and access to equipment. Any longer at the gym then get an application and apply for a job there.
