Recent advances are changing the treatment of aging, making sometimes replacing the option of a face-lift. After assessing your facial proportions and the quality of you skin, a treatment plan unique to your needs is created. Treatment may include skin care, procedures to restore more youthful facial proportions, and improving your skin texture. Skin care, especially sun protection, is an important part of every treatmentplan. Laser resurfacing and chemical peels helps smooth the texture of your skin, but requires from one to three at least several weeks to heal. New, easier resurfacing techniques are currently under development. For most patients, resurfacing replaces lower eyelid surgery. After assessing your facial proportions and the quality of your skin, a treatment plan unique to your needs can be created. No matter what regimen you choose, sun protection is an important part of every treatment plan.
