ALBANY - Some highway and bridge projects you depend on to get done in New York State have been short-changed.
New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said the state has duped them by billions of dollars over nearly two decades.
DiNapoli said almost four-billion dollars will need to be transferred by the state to the highway and bridge trust fund by 2014.
The fund was created in the nineties to pay for construction and rehabilitation of state-owned roads and bridges.
