WAVERLY - Your help is needed to find a way to boost the amount of volunteers who dedicate their time to protecting you.
Assemblyman Tom O'Mara is hosting a public forum on volunteer firefighters and emergency services.
The event will be at the Waverly Barton Fire District's Main Station.
That's on William Donnelly Industrial Parkway in Waverly.
It starts at 5:00 p.m. and goes until 7:00 p.m.
Discussion will focus on what New York can do to support volunteer first responders and how to encourage you to volunteer.
