We have seen a mix of sun and clouds today, with a still chilly high temperature of only 55. Winds have been out of the north at around 15 to 20 MPH, making it feel in the upper 40s. The cloudy skies will begin to clear into this evening. However, that will cause temperatures to plummet down to around 30. We see a slight warm up tomorrow into the low to mid 60s under plenty of sunshine. The winds still remain breezy and out of the north canceling out any more warmth moving in.
Expect the possibility of freezing temperatures Sunday night into Monday as well. Same set up with the clear skies and cool air mass will still be in play. It would probably be best to have sensitive plants inside through the entire weekend. Getting into Memorial Day, weather looks to cooperate with any outside festivities. temperatures should be right near 70, with plenty of sunshine. Clouds and showers return Tuesday evening and warmer and more moist air moves in. Temperatures should be back into the 80s by Wednesday and near 90 and very humid into the later part of next week.
