David Schifter was news director and anchor at WETM-TV from 1996-1999 and was responsible for launching the morning news show.
Many of his fondest memories as a journalist were created in the Twin Tiers. David headed to the beach where he assumed the news director job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Since then he left to pursue a passion for film and now works as a motion picture and TV casting director and actor.
