PAINTED POST—
More than two years after workers at Dresser Rand went on strike, a vote on a new contract has been set for next week.
In 2007, workers in Painted Post hit the picket lines after contract talks went sour over health insurance.
Since then all but sixteen workers have been called back to work, under the company's terms.
The union president says the new contract includes pay raises. But he says it still does not include affordable health benefits.
Union members will vote whether to approve the contract on Monday.
