ELMIRA—
The Chemung County District Attorney's office says 42 year old Darren Brooks has been charged with selling cocaine and selling the drug on school grounds.
They say brooks sold cocaine in July, August and September.
The D-A's office says one of the sales happened within 1,000 feet of a school, while it was in session.
But they say Brooks did not sell drugs to any students. They are not naming the school.
Brooks has already been indicted and was being arrested on those charges Friday.
Authorities were also issued a search warrant for his home Friday.
That’s where Brooks and four others were arrested in two separate drug busts in Elmira.
