NEW YORK - Jeff Foote's breakout season earned him 2nd Team All-NBA D-League honors Wednesday.
The former Spencer-Van Etten and Cornell star averaged 15.1 points per game, along with 8.9 rebounds in the D-League this year, playing with the Springfield Armor.
He also earned his first call-up to the NBA, joining the Hornets on a ten-day contract.
The two-time Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year led Cornell to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet Sixteen run as a senior.
Foote spent one season playing overseas before returning this year.
