SAYRE - Bad weather didn't stop more than 800 people from coming out to receive a free flu shot in Bradford County.People lined up hours before the clinic began in Sayre.
The clinic was sponsored by the Bradford County Health Department.
Officials anticipated giving out all 1000 vaccines, but that wasn't the case.
They still have more then 100 shots left.
Neighbors we spoke with say getting the shot was worth standing in the rain.
“Oh yeah, I work at the school with a lot of kids. So I like to get the flu shot. Otherwise I’d get sick all winter”, said Jennine Belcher.
“We were told that we better get up here early and we got here 20 minutes after 9 and there's no place to park and you had to drive around the block”, said Bob McKarthy.
Officials say they are not sure if and when they plan on distributing the remaining flu shots.
