The following is a news release from the Schuyler County Health Department:

Watkins Glen
Supplies of H1N1 vaccines are starting to arrive in Schuyler County. The Schuyler County Health Department and Schuyler Hospital want county residents to know where they should seek their vaccinations.

        #1. Pregnant women- their physician

        #2. Children three years old and younger- their child’s physician

        #3. Healthcare workers and First Responders- their employer or organization

        #4. PreK to 12th Grade- the Health Department will be going into the schools 

As with the rest of the country, a small number of doses are coming in at a time.

The Department of Health and Human Services estimates that that there will be enough vaccine for the entire population within the next few months. Plans for vaccinating the general population will be finalized when enough vaccine has arrived. Clinic times will be announced through the media.
