HORSEHEADS, NEW YORK - One of the toughest things for the Horseheads girls basketball team, this season, maybe just waiting for it to tip off.
The Blue Raiders return 11 players from a team that lost just four games, all of last year. With as many veteran players as Horseheads brings, there also comes high expectations. The goals are set high, and both Coach Andy Scott and his players understand and acknowledge them. One of them, would be beating Binghamton, a squad that got the best of Horseheads three times last season.
A program, whose team chemistry is as strong as it is from the very beginning of the season, has endless possibilities. The Blue Raiders will fine tune their game, through competitive scrimmages, until they tip off on December 11.
