ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Jackals' struggles continued Wednesday night, falling 4-1 to the Wheeling Nailers. It is Elmira's fourth straight loss.
Rob Bellamy opened the scoring with an impressive unassisted tally in the first period, but the Nailers responded with four consecutive goals - the last an empty-netter, to pick up the victory.
The loss snapped Elmira's 14-game unbeaten streak against Atlantic Division opponents.
These two will play again on Friday - this time in Wheeling.
