CAMPBELL, NEW YORK - Scouting reports weren't needed for two teams so familiar with one another. Jasper-Troupsburg and Addison's players have grown up playing against one another, and with veteran rosters, most had faced off against one another in the previous two SCAA championships. Both of which, had gone to the Knights.
The two programs have played some of the most legendary games in the Twin Tiers' hoops history. So why would Wednesday be any different?
Addison knew that they had to protect the ball early against the Wildcats, but while trying to establish an early tempo, the Wildcats were able to pick up some transition points. Ending the first half on a 12-4 run, Jasper-Troupsburg may have had some momentum, but Addison would battle back.
On the final shot of the game, it was by no means the ideal shot. Heavily defended, the Wildcats' Rob Adams was able to beat the buzzer, and secure the SCAA title, with a 44-43 win.
