ELMIRA - We have a warning for parents of young trick-or-treaters this Halloween weekend.
The Elmira Heights Police Department wants you to be aware of registered sex offenders in your neighborhoods.
In order to make sure your child visits safe homes on Halloween police have set up a list of registered sex offenders on their website.
"We just want parents to be aware of the information out on the web regarding sex offenders so they can be informed and keep track of their kids and know what houses they're going to,” says Elmira Heights Police Chief Rick Churches.
