Leigh Kjekstad was the 6&11pm anchor at WETM-18 News from 2004-2007.

After WETM, she moved out west to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was a reporter for KOAT-TV. After two years there, she decided to move back to the Pacific Northwest and now calls Victoria, B.C. home.

While Leigh is a fill-in anchor at a local station her full-time job is at SendtoNews, an internet based company that helps get video to newsrooms. Leigh has wonderful memories of her time in upstate New York, and still keeps in touch with many of the life-long friends she made there, but has yet to miss Nor'easters!
