MANSFIELD, Pa. - The PSAC Central has taken notice of Mansfield University's softball resurgence, handing out four big honors to the Mounties Tuesday.
Head Coach Edith Gallagher is the PSAC Central Coach of the Year, after guiding MU to a nine-win improvement from last season.
Sophomores Kate Pratt and Stephanie Simmeth are First-Team All-PSAC Central selections, along with junior Danielle Long.
Pratt, a Troy grad, set a new MU record with 10 homeruns this season. She also led the team in RBI (42), runs (33), and batting average (.379).
