After leaving Elmira in 2001, I worked as a sportscaster doing professional and college basketball play-play in Chicago, reported for ESPN Radio 1000 in Chicago, and spent four years as a sports anchor/reporter at SportsChannel Chicago.

Since 2000, I have been General Manager of five radio stations in the Chicagoland area. I don’t miss carrying around a camera, deck, tripod, lights, and batteries while standing in the rain and snow shooting high school football games, but I do miss wonderful friends and co-workers like Terry Day, Mike Settonni, Joanna Pasceri, Lisa Flynn, Rebecca Johnson, Mylous Hairston, Gene Kuffel, Mark Carros, Jeff Stone, Carl Proper, Bruce Flaherty, Dan Gilliam, Pat Campbell, Wayne Hicks, and other people I worked with in town such as Hilary Straus, Kelly Nelson, Mike Isenberg, Reni Ryan, Staci Feger, Dan Johnson, Pat Parrish, and so many others that I failed to mention.

I have a lot of fond memories from my days in Elmira, and I appreciate the fact that I was able to begin my career there. Special thanks to Terry Day, who gave me an opportunity.
