Rachel Rose shared the anchor desk with WETM-18 Storm Team Meteorologist Joe Pasquarelli every weekday morning on WETM-18 News Today from 2006 to 2007. Before that, she produced anchored the weekend editions of WETM-18 News at 5 and WETM-18 News at 11 from 2005 to 2006.

Rachel waved goodbye to Elmira in the summer of 2007 to take a position at the ABC news affiliate in Birmingham, Ala., where she worked as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. During her time in Alabama, Rachel made her national television debut as a contributing reporter on CNN Headline News. She also won an Associated Press award.

Today, Rachel lives in Atlanta, Ga., where she works as a Public Relations and Communications Manager in the sustainable ("green") building and design industry. She looks back fondly on her time in Twin Tiers (she'll never forget seeing her face on those billboards!) and will always appreciate how you welcomed her into your home every morning!
