CORNING, N.Y. – Four years ago, Heather Reynolds was a high school basketball star at Corning West, with a Division I future ahead. Her career took a detour, but Reynolds is back on track at Corning C.C.
Reynolds is scoring 23 points a game at CCC, giving her a second chance to showcase herself.
“I went to college with the wrong priorities,” said Reynolds, who originally went to Monmouth University. “I went to college to play basketball, not to do well academically. So that’s kind of what brought me back here. Come home, get my priorities right, get my head right, get my grades up, and have a continuation of my dream to play.”
That dream is alive and well again, thanks to her second chance at CCC.
