We can finally close the book on high school basketball season, with New York releasing its 2011-12 All-State Boys Basketball Teams Wednesday.
Seven local players made the cut, all in Class B or lower. Edison's Ben Georgia, a junior, is the only non-senior out of the local selections. The complete list is included below:
Class B
2nd Team - Evan Englert (Wayland-Cohocton)
6th Team - Ryan Hewitt (Waverly)
10th Team - Dom Scavo (Hornell)
Class C
3rd Team - Shane Manning (Notre Dame)
6th Team - Matt Davis (Notre Dame)
7th Team - Ben Georgia (Edison)
Class D
5th Team - Kyle Wahl (Whitesville)
