ALFRED, N.Y. - Alfred State made a big splash on National Signing Day, sending two players on to D-I schools, with Dom Sylvester and Brett Harrington signing.
Sylvester, who played high school football at Horseheads, will play at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He started every game at center for Alfred State this past fall, and joins another Horseheads alum at UAB; Joe Gilbert is the team's assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator.
Harrington will play cornerback at Western Kentucky. Injuries limited him to just four games this past season. He also had interest from Akron and Buffalo.
