ELMIRA - Fire investigators are trying to piece together how a fire sparked outside a vacant home on Elmira's Southside Monday morning.
Officials say the fire is suspicious.
It broke out before 2:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Fire officials say it occurred at a vacant home at 306 Cottage Place.
That's near Fulton Street and South Avenue.
Officials say the fire was on the exterior of the home.
The home was not destroyed and no one was injured.
