After more than 16 great years as sports director at WETM-TV, Terry Day joined the Mansfield University Public Relations Department as assistant director in August 1999.
His responsibilities include media relations and editing the Mansfield alumni magazine. Terry can still be seen at MU events with camera in hand, all be it a much smaller one than he used to use, shooting videos and taking pictures for the university’s website.
Terry and his wife Barb made the Twin Tiers their home. They are the proud parents of three daughters and have six grandchildren. When not working, he likes to spend as much time as possible with his family. Terry also coaches varsity girls basketball at Edison High School in Elmira Heights.
