A new study finds that changing what children watch on TV can improve behavior, especially for boys.

The study, published in the Journal Pediatrics, found parents of preschoolers who changed the channel from violent shows to educational programs had calmer children.

Kids even watched the same amount of television.

Out of all the people surveyed, low-income boys appeared to benefit the most.

Researchers admit the results were modest and faded over time.
