The monogrammed bloomers -- which feature pearl-like buttons and an embroidered crown and letter "E" -- were placed on eBay by the estate of the late Miami playboy "Baron" Joseph de Bicske Dobronyi, TMZ reported.

He was thought to have received the garment from a friend after they were left on a private plane used when the queen visited Chile in 1968.

A total 18 bids were made, with one mystery buyer emerging victorious.

A drunk woman has become an internet sensation after she came crashing down to earth when a window awning gave way and the whole drama was caught on camera.

The clip, captured on a grainy video recorder, starts off with a giggling blonde sitting comfortably on top of a window awning.

It was uploaded onto YouTube with the attached caption, "A friend of mine had been at the pub all day. She wouldn't take my advice and get [off the awning] so I decided to record!"

With a beer in her hand, she says, "It's not going to drop" seconds before the flimsy cover gives way and she goes crashing towards the ground.

The clip has racked up nearly 500,000 views on YouTube.

The woman was not seriously injured.

A university student based in Cardiff, Wales is aiming to raise money for children in Africa by doing a handstand every day for a year.

Julie Durmont came up with the idea to raise money to build playgrounds in Uganda.

Durmont decided on the challenge after joining a Facebook group called Handstand February.

She found the charity East African Playgrounds online and decided it perfectly matched her ideal cause.

So far, she has completed more than 100 handstands and hopes to finish the challenge in January 2012, in the same week as completing her PHD.

A South African businessman has gained himself some extra protection - a Bengal tiger called Enzo.

The 330 pound cat lives with owner Michael Jamison and his girlfriend Jackie at their home in Brakpan.

They decided to adopt the tiger after twice being targeted by armed robbers.

One-year-old Enzo sleeps with Jamison in his bed, has a cat box and enjoys eating on the kitchen counter.

He gets bottle-fed twice a day as well as consuming meat. He eats rice with chicken or mince alongside the couple's three dogs.

A video of a baby dressed as in stripes in front of a glass protecting the baby from an angry lioness in a zoo is now an online hit.

The boy's family recorded the video of a lion, trying to reach the boy, from behind the glass wall. The baby was dressed in black and white stripes and barely noticed the attention being given to him from the wild beast.

They think the lion may have mistaken the child for a zebra.

A violent swan nicknamed Mr. Asbo has been removed from a river in England following attacks on rowers, canoeists and swimmers.

The bad-tempered bird has been attacking boats on the River Cam in Cambridge for the last three years but this Spring, his behavior has gotten worse.

Mr. Asbo and his mate have now been moved by volunteers to an area 60 miles away under the orders of the Conservators of the River Cam.

Run-ins with the bird have left dozens of rowers with cuts and bruises, and many of the 3,000 regular river users are happy with the removal of Mr. Asbo.

A Canadian stuntwoman left plenty of skid marks after setting a new land speed record in Sydney on a toilet.

The wheeled lavatory hit a maximum speed of 46 mph.   Van Vugt, a motocross athlete who holds several other world records, went to Sydney to give the motorized toilet a whirl. Her ride launched the 2012 Nitro Circus Live Australian Capital City Tour, a stunt show and world-record-setting extravaganza.

Though Guinness World Records hasn't yet issued a formal certificate of recognition, Van Vugt seems to have satisfied the record-keeping organization's requirements for breaking the toilet speed record.

A video showing a dog proudly keeping guard of its master's property has become a hit on the internet.

The golden retriever is seen holding the man's bicycle as passers-by look on amused in China.

When the man returns, the dog welcomes him excitedly before climbing on the back of the bike.

A tribute website has been set up for the owner to buy a safer mode of transportation because the dog has hardly any room to hold on.

An Ohio woman with a tattoo reading 'God' on her forehead has been arrested for stalking a female prison officer. 

Police say Jamie Calloway is accused of stalking the officer who she "took a liking to" while incarcerated in the Montgomery County jail in Maryland.

Calloway allegedly slashed the woman's tires, called her at her house and sent her packages in the mail.

Police said she was easily identifiable because of her forehead tattoo and several metal teeth.

Calloway is also known on YouTube, under the alias "Jamie Godhead Platinum", for posting videos of herself ranting and displaying verses of the Bible.

A British couple have gotten married in real-life after getting engaged in a computer game before they had even met.

Marie and Jay Coulbeck met as the avatars they created, "Goddess of the Orient" and "Gunner", when they joined the 3-D chatroom IMVU. The couple's avatars got engaged online and that's when the two decided to swap real world photos.

While neither Marie nor Jay look like their virtual characters, they insist they were already in love before actually seeing what each other looked like.

Marie says, "I was terrified when I sent him my photo. I created her to represent the slim gorgeous woman I want to be but thankfully Jay said I looked beautiful anyway."

She adds, "He was my dream man in IMVU and he's turned out to be my dream man in real life too."

Jay says they haven't been back on the game since they met and says "Why do I need to now that I've got her for real?"
