Yankees agree to one-year deal with Robertson

Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Yankees and pitcher David Robertson have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract.

The deal is reportedly worth $3.1 million.

Robertson went 2-7 with two saves and a 2.67 ERA in 65 relief appearances for the Yankees in 2012 after going 4-0 with a 1.08 earned run average and a save over 70 appearances in 2011.

In 269 career games with New York, Robertson is 16-13 with five saves and a 2.95 ERA.
