Recap: Miami vs. NY Mets
Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Clint Sammons drove in the winning run in the ninth inning to lift the Miami Marlins to a 6-5 victory over the New York Mets in spring training action.
Sammons went 2-for-2 with two RBI while Hanley Ramirez hit a solo home run in the second inning for the Marlins. Mark Buehrle gave up four runs -- three earned -- on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings in the start.
Mike Nickeas hit a two-run home run and Josh Thole added an RBI in the loss for the Mets. Miguel Batista gave up one run on two hits over just two innings in the start.
