Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Jarrod Saltalamacchia clubbed a two-run home run, while Felix Doubront struck out four over four scoreless innings of starting work to help the Boston Red Sox earn a 5-0 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Friday in spring training action.
Heiker Meneses and Dan Butler added an RBI apiece for the Red Sox, who pounded out 11 hits as a team.
Brian Dozier and Darin Mastroianni each registered two hits apiece for the Twins. Minnesota starter Liam Hendriks surrendered three runs on five hits over four frames.
