Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Luis Figueroa hit a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning to help lift Team Puerto Rico to an 8-7 win over the Minnesota Twins in an exhibition game.

Pedro Valdes clubbed a two-run homer and finished with three hits and three RBI for Puerto Rico.

Aaron Hicks went 2-for-2 with a walk and a solo homer in the first inning off Puerto Rico starter Giancarlo Alvarado.

Vance Worley started for the Twins and allowed three runs -- two earned -- on six hits over 3 1/3 innings.
