Austin Rose had quite a career at Corning West, capping it today by being named the WETM-18 Sports Male Athlete of the Year.
Rose led the Vikings into the Final Four last fall on the football field, earning first-team All-State honors in the process. He started on the hoops team as well, but really made his mark on the lacrosse field, where he will play collegiately at Division-I Towson. Rose was part of the only West High lax team to defeat Corning East.
