Arkport – The Arkport Lady Jays soccer team is one win away from the state tournament and you can bet Bri Van Scoter will do all she can to get her team there. The senior forward is the 18 Sports Athlete of the Week after her two goals and four assists in Arkport’s sectional win against Romulus. Van Scoter later added 2 assists in a 2-1 overtime win over Genesee Valley in the Section V Class DD semifinals. She ranks 2nd on the team with 15 goals and is 1st in the assist column with 21.
Arkport will take on Jasper-Troupsburg in the Section V Class DD championship game on Saturday at 5:30pm at Alfred State.
