Browns cut Rucker

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Browns have released defensive lineman Frostee Rucker, the team announced on Tuesday.

Rucker, 29, is coming off his best statistical season, registering a personal- best 48 tackles while starting all 16 games for the first time in his seven- year career. He also finished with four sacks for the second consecutive season in addition to forcing one fumble.

After spending the first six years of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, Rucker signed with the Browns this past offseason.

He has recorded 11 sacks and 153 tackles in 69 career games.
