RICHMOND - More than ten years after throwing his last pitch at the school, Matt Burch returned to Virginia Commonwealth University as a Hall of Famer earlier this month. The Edison grad, inducted into VCU's athletic Hall of Fame.
Burch still holds a pair of records at the school, for most strikeouts and complete games. He told 18 Sports that he has some great memories from VCU, playing for a team with six future pro players (including himself).
