Pekka Rinne made 27 saves to help the Nashville Predators take a 4-2 win over the Dallas Stars at Sommet Center.

Shea Weber, Kevin Klein, Steve Sullivan and Patric Hornqvist each had a goal for the Predators, who have won four of their last five. Dan Hamhuis and Jean-Pierre Dumont each had two assists in the win.

Brian Sutherby and Steve Ott each had a goal for the Stars, who have dropped their past two games. Alex Auld was charged with four goals on 33 shots in the loss.

Trailing by a goal to start the third, the Predators rallied for three goals in the frame to surge ahead.

They tied the contest just 3:17 in on Sullivan's second goal of the season, a wrister that got past Auld.

With 9:01 to play, Nashville went ahead thanks to Hornqvist's third goal of the season and made it a two-goal game just 43 seconds later on Klein's slapper past Auld.

The Stars got on the board just 3:31 into the game on the power play as Ott jammed the puck into the net during a scrum in front, his second goal of the season.

However, Nashville answered with a power-play goal of its own as Weber's slap shot found the back of the net with 7:16 to play in the opening frame.

Dallas made it a 2-1 game at the 2:15 mark of the second period as Sutherby's slapper beat Rinne for his fourth goal of the season.
