Qualifying for the Camping World Grand Prix means it's time for Team Penske to steal the show.  They've done it every year at Watkins Glen International and this year would be no different.  Ryan Briscoe, who won the pole here in 2008, will start in first once again.  The Aussie owned the 3.4-mile road course with a fast time of 1 minute, 28.5970 seconds in the Firestone Fast Six Shootout, breaking the track record held by his teammate, Helio Castroneves, by more than a second.

Justin Wilson will start on the front row for the second straight year at W.G.I.  He's competed in the Firestone Fast Six on all three road courses this season.  Scott Dixon, who's a three-time winner of this race, will start on the 2nd row with Mario Moraes.  Dario Franchitti provided a scary moment in the Fast Six Shootout when his car spun entering turn 11 and made rear contact with the tire barrier.  He would be alright, but his car's a different story.  Franchitti will start fifth on Sunday.

Graham Rahal was supposed to be in the five position but the No. 02 failed post-qualifying technical inspection causing him to lose ten positions on the grid.  He'll start back on row 8 with 2008 Camping World Grand Prix winner, Ryan Hunter-Reay.  Helio Castroneves who's won the pole at the Glen three times, failed to make the top 12 in qualifying and will start on row 7 with Paul Tracy.
