Settled and cloudy conditions will prevail across New York State and Pennsylvania today. Through this afternoon temperatures are expected to climb towards 30 degrees. Typically, highs average into the lower 30s on this day.
The Winter Storm Watch that was posted by the National Weather Service has been cancelled and replaced by a Winter Weather Advisory. The Advisory begins tonight and continues through Wednesday. Inconvenient travel conditions are likely across the Twin Tiers during the daytime hours Wednesday as snow intensifies across the region.
Colder and breezy conditions will likely follow Wednesday’s snow. Blowing and drifting snow will likely develop across open roads and fields during the day Thursday. Wind chills will be blustery into the teens through the late week as winds continue to remain breezy.
